2025 was another busy and dynamic year for hotel republic, marked by strong engagement with our MICE clients and continued growth across our hotel portfolio.
Throughout the year, we conducted 187 face-to-face appointments with MICE clients and successfully delivered 74 events across our hotel partners. These events generated a total net revenue of £5.5 million for our hotel clients. Looking ahead, we have already confirmed 30 events for 2026, with a total value of £4 million. We also signed our Madrid Hotels up to the Official Accommodation Programme for the MADRING circuit resulting in 2000 room nights.
While overall confirmations were slightly lower than in 2024, we identified that the April–June period was particularly quiet in the UK market, which impacted overall performance.
Monthly Highlights
January
We kicked off the year by hosting 10 hotel partners at the micebook EXPO, where we created a fantastic hotel republic zone at the main entrance. This prime position allowed us to meet with key decision-makers and top MICE clients.
February
We hosted two MICE client tables at Mamma Mia! The Party on behalf of Palladium Hotels. Additionally, we travelled to Bavaria to meet our new hotel client, Hotel Bachmair Weissach, learning all about this stunning hotel and the famous Tegernsee.
March
A successful FAM trip to Switzerland was organised, showcasing The Chedi Andermatt and Radisson Andermatt. We also welcomed three hotel partners to the UK for targeted sales calls.
April
We ran another sales mission with three hotels and attended a dinner hosted by the Hong Kong Tourism Board to stimulate MICE business to Hong Kong. We also invited 10 top MICE clients to experience our partner hotel City of Dreams. We were delighted to sign a new agreement with the famous Conrad Istanbul.
May
May was a busy month, including attendance at a health and yoga retreat at Down Hall, another sales mission, and a go-karting client experience for PortAventura. We also attended IMEX and hosted a client trip to EPIC SANA Algarve with 10 MICE clients.
June
We travelled to Prague to showcase OREA Hotels, working closely with DMC Advantage and hosting a select group of clients. We also attended The Meetings Show and travelled by Eurostar to Paris for the opening of the H4 Hotel Wyndham Paris Pleyel Resort.
July
July included another sales mission, a Spanish cooking class for Hard Rock Marbella and Palladium Hotels, and attendance at the BEAM Annual Dinner. We also hosted 10 clients via Eurostar to Amsterdam and Rotterdam to showcase our Postillion Hotels.
August
We were delighted to sign a new representation agreement with The Lansdowne Club, Mayfair. The month also included a memorable visit to the Palio in Siena with our client Castel Monastero.
September
At the M&IT Awards, we proudly handed over our Gold Award for Best Representation to Destinations Unlimited. Our client PortAventura received Bronze for Best Overseas Convention Centre, while SANA Hotels attended micebook X in Tenerife. We also participated in the Cvent Connect Conference.
October
We hosted a venue-finding team dinner with our partners at DMC Advantage, ran several webinars for Postillion Hotels, The Site Ibiza, and City of Dreams, and delivered another sales mission with our hotel partners.
November
In November, we took 10 clients to the iFLY Indoor Skydiving Centre in London with PortAventura. We also ran a sales mission for Hotel Bachmair Weissach and hosted a dinner at Hakkasan for Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife and The Site Ibiza.
December
We closed the year on a high, selling out our January 2026 Hotel Showcase. We now have 21 hotel clients confirmed and 134 MICE clients registered, with one month still to go.
